And the Slowpoke Award Goes To…

One of my favorite ways to scrapbook is with friends. Every few months, I invite friends to my house to share my tools and supplies and to work on our scrapbook pages together.

It’s always fun, but I get teased every time, because while all my scrapfriends are creating 3 or 5 or 10 pages each, I rarely finish even one!

So I guess their teasing is justified, and I have to confess: I am THE Slowpoke Scrapbooker. (more…)

Every year in May and June they come. The graduates.

From kindergarteners to PhD’s, thousands of them line up in caps and gowns. And there in the audience, cameras clicking away, you’ll see their loved ones, smiling with pride. And then, there are the ones like me—scrapbookers, imagining all that pomp and circumstance arranged on a scrapbook page. (more…)

Birthdays. Holidays. Anniversaries. For years I snapped dozens of family photos–memories to keep forever.

I stashed them in boxes away from the light, intending to share them one day. But I didn’t. I forgot about them.
